General feasibility review of an automated bio-energy and waste water treatment plant (phase 1)

17 October 2017
Focus area: Energy
Program stream: Sustainability
Project number: 2017-1103
This project involves an investigation into an automated solution for bio-energy and waste water treatment at a large beef processing plant.

The technology under investigation is capable of providing a sustainable source of energy that can meet a significant portion of the abattoirs energy requirements, dramatically reducing the GHG emissions and create renewable fertiliser from the by-product of the waste to energy process.
