05 December 2022
Focus area: Traceability & integrity systems
Program stream: Product & process integrity
Project number: 2022-1127
In collaboration with the Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC), AMPC was awarded funding through the Traceability Grants Program.

The funding was used to support a series of pilot studies that will examine the product improvement, disease traceability, and quality control of electronic radio frequency identification device (RFID) readers in sheep processing plants in NSW, QLD, WA, and SA.

The first phase of the pilot studies included supplying and installing single walk-through readers and associated infrastructure to the participating processing plants.
