This project aimed to identify the common psychosocial hazards within the Australian red meat processing industry.
The project looked to:
• Identify common themes relating to psychosocial hazards in the workplace.
• Increase awareness of the industry's obligations as they relate to psychosocial hazards.
• Increase the focus of individual red meat processing plants on assessing and addressing psychosocial hazards in their workplaces.
As part of this project, an assessment of common psychosocial hazards was also completed at a Victorian red meat processing plant.
