Meet our new General Manager of Research, Development and Adoption

AMPC welcomes Edwina Toohey to the role of General Manager of Research, Development and Adoption (GM RD&A). 

CEO Chris Taylor said, “The role is a critical one for the business and I am delighted to welcome Edwina to the team. 

“Edwina has deep experience both in overseeing R&D programs and working with the red meat industry including with the processing sector while working for the NSW Department of Primary Industries.”

Most recently she spent five years as the R&D Leader in the Department of Primary Industry’s Extensive Livestock Industries Unit leading the R&D team in the delivery of their programs. 

Edwina said, “I am excited to continue to work closely with the red meat processing industry and I am extremely passionate about it. In this role I look forward to generating high impact outcomes for the industry. There is a real opportunity to achieve this through the engagement and knowledge transfer between industry, AMPC co-innovation managers and each of our portfolios - people and culture, sustainability, advanced manufacturing, technical market access and markets, and product and process integrity.”
