The main objective of this research project was to investigate the potential for self-cleaning or low fouling membranes in the Red Meat industry for tallow recovery.
The philosophy behind the project was to take a conductive membrane and apply an electrical potential across it to see if we can prevent organic fouling or remove any fouling that does occur.
