Forecasting
Forecasting is key focus for AMPC to ensure that our RD&E programs are developed and resourced appropriately. Budgets are described for each focus area to demonstrate AMPC’s commitment to transparency and communication of its RD&E portfolio to stakeholders.
AMPC utilises the red meat industry projections data and other relevant publications that are also utilised by the red meat industry RDCs such as reports from Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES) for accurate forecasting.
Evaluating Performance
AMPC defines a series of high level KPIs for each program as well as specific KPIs against each focus area to effectively benchmark and measure the company’s performance. AMPC also invests in evaluation activities to ensure that RD&E and Marketing activities are efficient in achieving outcomes.
